Message from Chairman January 2024

Here’s wishing you all a Happy and Good Bowling New Year.
The year starts off with some good news for the club in that the grant recently applied for from Central Beds Council for the installation Solar panels has been approved. My thanks go to Ray Greenall for instigating this initiative and the work involved in obtaining quotations and preparing the application and to Stuart Martin who helped completing the application.
Attached is a programme of upcoming social events and my thanks go to Linda for coordinating the programme.
Now is the time to enter both County and National competitions. County competitions are entered by adding your name to the entry form posted on the club notice board. You can refer to the Diary pages on Buckinghamshire County Bowls association website ( www.buckinhamshirebowls.co.uk) which sets out the dates that each of the competitions are played on. National competitions are entered through the Bowls England website ( https://bowlsenglandcomps).
If you wish to enter but are still unsure of the procedures please contact one of our captains or myself for assistance.
